The Civil Service Tennis Club is situated in the beautiful grounds of the Stormont Estate, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Our full title is the Northern Ireland Civil Service Lawn Tennis Club (NICSLTC). Civil Service Tennis Club has four Astroturf courts two of which have floodlights and also our own Tennis Clubhouse. The Club has a membership of just over seventy people of all ages and standards. Members play throughout the year with the more dedicated having been known to ‘play rain, hail or shine’!
Civil Service Tennis Club's main emphasis is on the social aspect of the game and runs Club sessions on Saturday afternoons from 2.00 pm and Thursday evenings from 7.00 pm.
Coaching classes are run by the Club so have a look at that page on this web-site for more details and a Wednesday Tennis Training night will be starting in September. The Club also holds Fun Tournaments and Internal Club competitions for all members throughout the year.
For those with a more competitive streak, the Club also takes part in the Belfast and District League competitions under the auspices of Tennis Ireland. These Leagues run throughout the year and, if you would like to play in them, the Club’s Selection Committee will ensure that you are placed in a team commensurate with your abilities.
